Consider one of the important pillar in Palestine standard institute (PSI) specially in its role of delivering services related to PSI vision and goals, related to customers and environment health and safety, as well as satisfying the public and private sector's needs.
The main services provided by TS department:
- Carrying out periodic test for factories holding Palestinian quality mark such as PS,PSM, and Halal in different sectors (mechanical, electrical, food, chemical and other sectors)
- Inspection services for different operation systems such as lifts, central gas, play ground, amusement park and any other operating systems.
- Labeling approving for product packaging according to related standards
- Conformity certificate for products to ensure compliance with technical regulation and/or international standard according to customer or related parties orders, as well as testing imported products and supervising it.
- Represent PSI in general supplies department /ministry of finance, furthermore participate in the technical committees in all the governmental tenders offered by general supplies department.
- Participate in offering training service in different technical fields such as; electrical, material, product labeling, and lifts inspection,….
- Participate in quality auditing for companies holding PS mark, with quality department staff.
- Participate with external committees such as (the internal market regulation committee) which held in ministry of economic, as well as participating with internal committees which held's inside PSI with related departments inside PSI.
- Follow up complaints submitted to PSI from customers , governmental agencies, municipalities and ministries.
- Follow up establishing testing laboratories for electrical appliances and cement.
