Mandatory Technical Instructions Committee Holds Its 171st Meeting

The Mandatory Technical Instructions Committee held its 171st meeting, chaired by Dr. Haidar Hajja, Director General of the Palestinian Standards Institution, to discuss the committee’s work plan and follow up on several draft mandatory technical instructions.

The committee discussed draft instructions related to in vitro diagnostic medical devices, novel foods and food ingredients, radio equipment, and pressure equipment. It also reviewed the progress of its 2026 work plan.

Furthermore, the committee called on its members to identify their needs and priorities regarding mandatory technical instructions for 2027, in preparation for developing next year’s work plan. This aims to address market needs and enhance product safety and quality.
