Palestine Standards Institution Discusses Cooperation with Rehabilitation and Correction Centers to Obtain the Palestinian Quality Certificate

Ramallah – Director General of the Palestine Standards Institution, Dr. Haider Hajja, met with Director General of the Police General Administration of Rehabilitation and Correction Centers, Brigadier General Dr. Saleh Al-Barghouthi, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and support the Administration’s efforts to obtain the Palestinian Quality Certificate.

The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Palestine Standards Institution in Ramallah, with the participation of Deputy Director General of the General Administration of Rehabilitation and Correction Centers, Brigadier General Hatem Ajaj, Deputy Director of the Training and Rehabilitation Department, Captain Mohammad Al-Arabi, as well as representatives of the Institution.

The meeting addressed the mechanisms and procedures required to qualify the Rehabilitation and Correction Centers in accordance with approved quality requirements and standards. These efforts aim to develop the work system, improve the level of services provided, and strengthen the implementation of best administrative and institutional practices.

Dr. Hajja affirmed the Institution’s readiness to provide the necessary technical and advisory support and assistance to enable the General Administration of Rehabilitation and Correction Centers to meet the requirements for obtaining the Palestinian Quality Certificate. He stressed the importance of promoting a culture of quality and strengthening the application of national standards and specifications across Palestinian institutions.

For his part, Brigadier General Dr. Saleh Al-Barghouthi commended the role of the Palestine Standards Institution and its efforts to support national institutions. He affirmed the General Administration’s commitment to developing the work environment, improving performance and service delivery, and benefiting from the Institution’s technical and training expertise, with the aim of meeting quality requirements and obtaining the Palestinian Quality Certificate.

The meeting comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation and integration among national institutions and supporting efforts to promote quality and institutional excellence, while enhancing the level of services provided in accordance with approved national standards and specifications.
