The Palestinian Standards Institution Concludes Specialized Training Course on ISO 15189
Ramallah – The Palestinian Standards Institution concluded a specialized training course on the requirements of the ISO 15189 international standard, targeting personnel from the Military Medical Services Directorate. The course aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge of quality management system requirements and competence in medical laboratories.
The training was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Al-Dalaq from the Quality and Qualification Department, who presented the key requirements of the standard and explained practical approaches for its implementation in medical laboratories, contributing to the development of quality systems and improved laboratory performance.
At the conclusion of the course, the Director General of the Palestinian Standards Institution, Dr. Haidar Hajjah, presented certificates of participation to the trainees. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the capacities of technical personnel and promoting the implementation of quality management systems in medical laboratories, highlighting their positive impact on the quality of healthcare services.
