The National Metrology Institute of Palestine oversees all metrology (measurement) activities, both industrial and legal, as metrology is considered one of the key components of the quality infrastructure.

The Directorate provides calibration services in both industrial and legal fields to enhance the quality of measurements and ensure transparency in commercial transactions in the following areas:

The National Measurement Directorate also represents the State of Palestine in relevant international metrology forums and activities.
