The Technical Services Department is considered one of the main pillars of the institution in providing services that play a crucial role in achieving the institution’s goals and vision, especially concerning consumer health and safety, environmental protection, market regulation, and meeting the needs of both the private and public sectors.

The most important services provided by the department include:

Providing periodic inspection services for factories that have obtained the institution’s marks (Quality, Supervision, Halal) across various sectors (mechanical, electrical, food, and others).

Providing inspection services for operational systems (elevators, central gas systems, amusement rides, and all related systems).

Providing certification services for product labels according to Palestinian specifications related to products and goods.

Conducting conformity testing for products and goods upon request by customers or relevant authorities, as well as testing conformity for goods intended for import and entry into Palestine, monitoring and supervising them.

Permanent participation in technical committees for government tenders in all sectors; the department also represents the institution as a key member in the Central Tenders Committee.

Participating in providing training services in cooperation with relevant external parties in various fields (electrical, aluminum, product labels, elevator inspection).

Participating in auditing factories that have obtained the institution’s certificates alongside the relevant section in the Quality Department.

Continuous participation in external committees such as the Internal Market Regulation Committee at the Ministry of Economy, as well as internal committees held within the institution involving related departments.

Following up on complaints submitted to the institution by customers and other governmental entities such as municipalities and the Ministry of Economy.

Following up on the establishment of a laboratory for testing electrical devices and cement.
