Preparation of Palestinian standards projects and participation in the development of regional and international standards in the following sectors, including terminology, classification, specifications, and methods of sampling, measurement, analysis, and testing:

• Liquid biofuels
• Crude oil
• Liquid petroleum fuels
• Non-petroleum liquid fuels and liquid fuels from natural or synthetic sources
• Gaseous fuels used in transport
• Gaseous fuels liquefied by cooling or compression
• Oils, lubricants, and petroleum-based or non-petroleum-based fluids (including hydraulic fluids and greases) from natural or synthetic sources
• Natural gas, its alternatives, and its blends (such as unconventional gases and renewable gases)
