The Palestinian Good Agricultural Practices system (PAL-GAP) is the first national framework aimed at improving the quality of agricultural products and enhancing food safety. It is based on voluntary standards tailored to the Palestinian context and aligned with GLOBALG.A.P. The system helps create seasonal job opportunities, increase household income, and promote sound environmental and farm management practices across the agricultural production chain.
