mechanism for obtaining the service

  1-  Submit an e- application for the conformity mark at the Quality and Certification Department , with a technical file attached according to the technical regulations of the target market.

  2-  The Quality and Qualification Department reviews the submitted application.

  3-  The Quality and Qualification Department checks the extent to which the technical file conforms to the requirements.

  4-  The Certification Department conducts an initial visit to the product to evaluate the production process and the product safety system.

  5-  The Quality and Qualification Department coordinates with the Technical Services Department to take samples and test them according to the specifications of the target market.

  6-  In case the quality management system and the results of the tests conform to the requirements of the standard, a technical committee will be formed to study the file.

  7-  In case the quality system and/or the results of the tests do not conform to the specification requirements, the producer is required to make the necessary adjustments, and to agree with the Quality and Qualification Department to repeat the audit process and/  or take new samples.

  8-  The technical committee shall make a recommendation either to approve the file and submit it to the Quality Mark Committee (Licensing Committee) or to reject the file and thus return it to the Quality and Qualification Department for the necessary work.

  9-  The Quality Mark Committee (Licensing Committee) approves the file and thus signs the agreement and grants the product the quality mark and puts it under periodic monitoring or returns the file to the technical committee for the necessary action.

 10-An evaluation report is issued on the actions carried out by the Palestine Standards Institution and its outputs and a certificate of conformity for the shipment that is exported.
