Scope
This Palestinian Standard specifies the requirements to be met by the following cultivated varieties of radish:
- Horseradish (Armoracia rusticana G. Gaertn., B. Mey. et Scherb.).
- Radish (Raphanus sativus L. Radicula Group).
- Chinese radish and long radish (Raphanus sativus Chinensis Group and Longipinnatus Group).
This standard applies to radishes supplied fresh to consumers after packaging and packing. It does not apply to radishes intended for processing.
