Scope
This Palestinian standard specifies the requirements that must be met in Chinese cabbage of cultivated varieties of Brassica rapa subsp. pekinensis (Lour.) Hanelt, to be supplied fresh to the consumer after packaging, with Chinese cabbage intended for industrial processing being excluded.
Chinese cabbage is classified into the following commercial types:
– Long Chinese cabbage
– Round Chinese cabbage
