Scope
This Palestinian standard specifies the requirements that must be met in the commercial varieties of okra cultivated from Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench (syn. Hibiscus esculentus L.), of the family Malvaceae, to be supplied fresh to the consumer after packaging, with okra intended for industrial processing being excluded.
