This Palestinian Standard specifies the requirements for apricot varieties grown from the species Prunus armeniaca L., and interspecific hybrids derived from crosses between apricot (Prunus armeniaca) and plum (Prunus domestica or Prunus salicina) exhibiting apricot characteristics, intended to be supplied fresh to the consumer after packaging, with apricots intended for industrial processing being excluded.
