Scope

This Palestinian standard specifies the requirements that must be met in the commercial varieties of the ginger rhizome cultivated from the species Zingiber officinale Roscoe, of the Zingiberaceae family, to be delivered to the consumer fresh, after packing and packaging, with ginger intended for industrial processing being excluded.
