Scope
This Palestinian standard specifies the requirements that must be met in the modified stems of the commercial varieties of prickly pear (Opuntia ficus indica, O. hyptiacantha, O. tomentosa, O. robusta, O. ondulata, O. inermis) from the Cactaceae family, to be supplied fresh to the consumer after packaging, with prickly pear intended for industrial processing being excluded.
