The Institution holds Correspondent Member status in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Accordingly, it participates in the technical committees for standards as well as in the policy-setting committees of the organization. The institution is a member of the International Electrotechnical Commission (Affiliate Plus).

The institution holds an Observer Member status in the Codex Alimentarius Commission and participates in the technical meetings of the National Codex Committee.

The institution is a member of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC). The institution has obtained membership in the Institute's Board of Directors for the years 2025-2027 and participates in the following meetings and committees:
